Otepää Winterplace is a winter fun park for the entire family that offers various leisure activities in the Linnamäe Valley in the centre of Otepää. There, you will find snowtubing tracks and tube rental, sledging and skiing slopes, Zipfy sledges for hire, a skating rink and an igloo cinema and tube carousel for smaller children. Everybody can find something exiting to do there!

Tehvandi Sport Center offers very many different possibilities to organise trainings and competitions and spend your leisure time in an active way. 

The illuminated training and competition track of up to 5 km is made of artificial snow and is suitable for both classical and free style skiing. The ski tracks for trainings have a though relief with difficult ascents and complex dangerous descents, and they are intended for well-trained and experienced sportsmen only. The ski track made of artificial snow is illuminated every evening until 21.00. 

You can use the road only if skiing towards proper and indicated directions. The road is accessible through Tehvandi stadium or through the upper car park of Tehvandi main building near the stadium and next to the gate of the maintenance house or through the stadium of the shooting range.

For amateurs and vacationers there is a hiking trail of 10 km on natural snow, an illuminated ski track on Tehvandi - Munamägi light traffic road and Neljakasemägi illuminated sledging hill for personal sledges.

The most famous mountain skiing centre in Estonia – the Kuutsemäe Holiday Centre that provides opportunities for mountain skiing and snowboarding – is located 14 km from Otepää. 5 of 8 lifts are already operating and that means ready to use will be every day Lilleoru two slopes, Tinnijaagu, Kids, Kuutse slopes and Snowpark. Slopes are open every day from 11am till 7pm, Friday 11am till 8pm, Saturday 10am till 8pm and Sunday 10am till 6pm.

Same ski pass is valid also in Väike-Munamäe Ski Resort near Otepää. Slopes are open from Tuesday till Thursday 12noon till 8pm, Friday same but with Night Skiing – it means that every friday illuminated slopes are open until 23:00 (11pm)! Saturday 10am till 8pm and Sunday 10am till 6pm.
